Vision

Although artificial intelligence is on the cusp of surpassing human intelligence, lawmaking and legal advice are definitionally human endeavors. Law captures how we want to formally collaborate, resolve differences, and punish. As a society, we’ve made an implicit decision that human values expressed through law are irreducible to raw computational capacity, empathy transcends analytical rigor, and institutionalizing normative decisions is a human activity.
